    Bohring-Opitz Syndrome is an extremely rare genetic syndrome. There are fewer than 300 diagnoses worldwide. Patients with BOS can have brain abnormalities, feeding difficulties, epilepsy, recurring respiratory infections, silent aspiration, abnormal hair density, Wilm's Tumor, and the list goes on. The leading cause of death is respiratory infections.

    The Bohring-Opitz Syndrome Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of lives of people affected by BOS including our oldest and incredibly sweet girl, Naya.
